Two people died and at least 40 were injured as a result of a tram derailment in Milan, Italy.
“Elchi” reports that Italy’s “Corriere della Sera” publication released information about this.
It was noted that police and rescuers are working at the scene. The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into negligent homicide.
Among the versions being considered is that the driver, who did not stop at the last stop, felt unwell. He was hospitalized with minor injuries. According to preliminary information, the vehicle was moving at high speed.
The derailed tram hit pedestrians and crashed into a building.
