Due to recent events in the Middle East, Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku bus services operating through the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been suspended for security purposes.

The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency informed “Elchi” that on February 28, the 19:00 and 20:00 services from Baku to Nakhchivan, the 21:00 service from Baku to Sharur, the 15:30, 16:30, and 17:30 services from Nakhchivan to Baku, as well as the 16:30 service from Sharur to Baku, are temporarily suspended.

Additional information regarding the resumption of Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku services will be provided to the public.

Should further questions arise, passengers can contact AYNA’s “141” Call Center.

However, there are no problems or restrictions regarding the passage of cargo vehicles through the Iran-Azerbaijan border. Carriers are regularly contacted, and the situation is under control. Should any changes occur, the public will be informed.
