The American side is discussing with Russia the issue of creating a nuclear-powered data center and a tunnel under the Bering Strait.

The magazine also notes that US President Donald Trump’s entourage is negotiating to acquire stakes in Russian energy assets. In addition, the American side is also discussing possible agreements with Russia on rare earth metals, oil and gas in the Arctic.
An American trader also told The Economist that US business is interested in trading wheat with Russia. “Russia is the world’s largest wheat exporter. We also want to participate in this process,” the trader said.
