The level of dollarization of individuals’ deposits decreased by 2.8 percentage points during 2025 and amounted to 30.8%.
According to “Elchi”, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) reports this with reference to the “Monetary Policy Review”.
According to the information, the dollarization level of household deposits, excluding deposits of non-resident individuals, decreased by 2.6 percentage points to 28%.
The share of foreign currency in legal entities’ deposits decreased by 0.9 percentage points in the last 1 year to 38.5%.
It was noted that during the year, deposits in manats increased by 5% or 1.2 billion manats to 24.5 billion manats, while deposits in foreign currency decreased by 4% or 549 million manats to the equivalent of 13.3 billion manats.
