Last year, the High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plant of “SOCAR Polymer” exported 76 thousand tons of products.
“Elchi” reports with reference to “SOCAR Polymer” that 97 thousand tons of products were produced at the plant in 2025.
The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 120 thousand tons. 22% of production is sold to local markets, and 78% is directed to the Turkish and European markets. HDPE products are currently exported to 14 countries.
It should be noted that HDPE products produced at the plant are used in various fields such as film production, pressure pipes for water and gas transportation, consumer goods, containers for chemicals, as well as the production of coatings for metal pipes. The enterprise was put into operation on February 18, 2019.
