In 2025, 35,390 residential buildings with a total area of 4 million 629.5 thousand square meters were built and put into use in Azerbaijan.
According to the calculations made by “Elchi” based on the report of the State Statistics Committee, the number of houses built increased by 75.6% or 15,241 units compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Thus, in 2024, 20,149 residential buildings with a total area of 2 million 361.6 thousand square meters were built and put into use in the country.
It should be noted that during the reporting period, the number of individual residential and garden houses built and put into use was 25,350 (2.2 times more than the previous year), and the number of apartment buildings was 10,040 (16.4% more than the previous year).
It should be reminded that last year 5 general education institutions with 2684 places were built and put into use.
