According to him, in the morning, the US side held talks with the Omani Foreign Minister and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the Iranian position on the nuclear program, the lifting of sanctions and the framework of a possible agreement was conveyed to the Americans. The diplomat noted that consultations with the IAEA chief distinguish this round of negotiations from previous ones.
According to Bagai, the Iranian and US delegations have been at the negotiating venue since 10:00 am local time, and the exchange of messages through the Omani side has already begun. He added that the Iranian delegation arrived in Geneva fully prepared and demonstrated its readiness for result-oriented negotiations.
