Azerbaijan will join the Council of Europe Convention against Trafficking in Human Organs with a special declaration.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated during the discussion of the draft law “On the approval of the Council of Europe Convention against Trafficking in Human Organs” at today’s meeting of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building of the Milli Majlis in video conference format.
It was brought to attention that this is due to the fact that the provisions of the Convention will not be applied in relations with Armenia until the normalization of relations with Armenia.
