A fine is determined for the import, export, production, wholesale and retail sale, and storage for the purpose of sale of electronic cigarettes and their components.
According to “Elchi”, this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which will be discussed at today’s meeting of the Parliament’s Committee on Legal Policy and State Building.
According to the project, from April 1, individuals will be fined from three hundred and fifty manats to five hundred manats, officials from one thousand six hundred and fifty manats to two thousand two hundred manats, and legal entities from four thousand manats to five thousand manats, with confiscation of goods that were the direct object of the administrative offense for the import, export, production, wholesale and retail sale, and storage for the purpose of sale of electronic cigarettes and their components.
It should be noted that, according to the amendment to the Law “On Tobacco and Tobacco Products”, from April 1, the import, export, production, storage, wholesale and retail sale and use of electronic cigarettes and their components are prohibited.
