The Baku City State Traffic Police Department has appealed to road users regarding the weather conditions.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” from the department, the appeal states:
“Fog seriously hinders the timely and clear visibility of other road users, as well as road signs, marking lines, and regulatory devices in general, therefore, drivers are required to be more careful in such weather conditions, choose a speed limit appropriate to the weather conditions, ensure the serviceability of vehicles, especially external lighting devices, and strictly adhere to safety rules when stopping, parking, as well as overtaking and maneuvering.
Pedestrians should also take into account that drivers have difficulty seeing the carriageway and its edges in foggy weather conditions, and should not forget their sense of responsibility when going out on the road in such weather.”
