The number of victims of Cyclone Gezani in Madagascar has reached 59.

“Elchi” reports that the National Office for Risk and Disaster Management of Madagascar has released information about this.

The “Gezani” cyclone covered 25 districts in 5 regions of the country. 59 people died, 15 people went missing, and 804 people were injured. The total number of victims exceeded 423,000, the report said.

The Madagascar government has declared a red alert level due to the re-emergence of Cyclone Gezani. Residents of the southwestern part of the country have been advised not to leave their homes, and ships have been instructed to remain in ports.
