Last month, a total of 7,591 cars worth 176 million 541 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Customs Committee.
According to the information, this is 27% more and 0.94% less, respectively, compared to the same period of 2024.
During the month, 712 hybrid cars worth 15 million 611 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan. This means a decrease of 45.3% and an increase of 52.4% annually, respectively.
The value of plug-in hybrid cars imported to the country in January increased by 73.7% to 76 million 113 thousand US dollars, and the number increased by 79% to 3,872 units.
During the reporting period, 108 fully electric cars worth 3 million 268 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan. This is 2 times and 22.3% less annually, respectively.
