As a result of measures taken by employees of the Nakhchivan Main Customs Department, a particularly large amount of psychotropic substance was discovered and removed from illegal circulation.
“Elchi” reports that the Nakhchivan Main Customs Department told APA about this. It was noted that a cargo vehicle traveling from Iran to Turkey through our country was subjected to customs inspection at the “Shahtakhty” customs post. During the inspection, a particularly large amount of psychotropic substance – methamphetamine with a net weight of 41 kilograms and 600 grams in liquid form in 20 plastic containers was discovered from a specially made storage place made in a makeshift manner from a trailer belonging to the vehicle.
An investigation is underway regarding the fact.
