Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the information about the nomination of businessman Samvel Karapetyan, who is under investigation, from the “Strong Armenia” party for the post of head of government.

“According to the legislation and Constitution of Armenia, a person with second or third citizenship cannot be nominated as a deputy or Prime Minister. Therefore, the issue you are talking about does not exist either de jure or de facto. Therefore, I do not consider it necessary to comment on something that does not exist,” Pashinyan said.
