The next round of negotiations on the settlement of the conflict between Russia, the USA and Ukraine will be held in Geneva, Switzerland.
“Elchi” reports that this was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
According to the official representative of the Kremlin, the meeting will be held in the same trilateral (Russia-USA-Ukraine) format as before. The negotiations are scheduled to take place on February 17-18.
Dmitry Peskov noted that there was a change in the leadership of the Russian delegation in this round: “This time, the Russian delegation will be headed by the President’s assistant Vladimir Medinsky.”
It should be noted that the first round of negotiations took place on January 23-24 in Abu Dhabi. Igor Kostyuk, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, participated in the first meeting.
The second round of negotiations took place on February 4-5, again in Abu Dhabi.
