The People’s Republic of China will catch up with the US militarily in the near future, and Washington’s global leadership may be lost.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.
“China has laid the foundation for this by demonstrating strategic patience for many years. In the near future, Beijing will be able to catch up with the US militarily,” he stressed.
Merz added that “the US claim to leadership is in any case disputed, or perhaps even already lost.”
