On February 13, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, in Munich.
“Elchi” reports that during the conversation, Nechirvan Barzani’s visits to Azerbaijan, as well as meetings with the head of our state, were recalled with satisfaction, and it was noted that all this creates a good opportunity to discuss the prospects of cooperation.
The President of Azerbaijan and the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region exchanged views on the development of relations in the economic, commercial, cultural, and humanitarian fields and discussed issues of mutual interest.
The head of state invited Nechirvan Barzani to visit our country. The head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region accepted the invitation with pleasure.
