“In 2025, the number of beneficiaries of the services of the Child and Family Support Centers was 29,746.”
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Problems, at an event on the results of the Committee’s activities in 2025.
She noted that 1888 applications were received by the centers: “UADM employees visited 1159 families. 560 of these visits were related to issues of avoiding education, early marriage, domestic violence, family disputes, communication with children, guardianship and custody. Also, 36 families were visited regarding early marriage facts, 22 cases were prevented, and 81 children were involved in education.”
B.Muradova also added that based on the applications received regarding domestic violence, protection orders were issued to 109 citizens.
She noted that the number of protection orders issued based on applications received by the State Committee increased by 30% compared to 2023. This figure was 46 in 2022, 83 in 2023, and 108 in 2024.
