Germany has almost no weapons left to give to Ukraine, and the defense minister has warned about restrictions.
“Elchi” reports with reference to foreign media that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that after large-scale supplies to Ukraine, the country’s military reserves have decreased significantly, and Berlin is already close to the limit of its ability to continue providing equipment and weapons.
Germany has previously sent a wide range of military aid to Kyiv, including Patriot systems, armored vehicles, artillery installations, and air defense systems. These supplies were part of the support provided to Ukraine by European allies.
According to Pistorius, subsequent decisions must take into account the needs of the German army itself. The authorities emphasize that even in the context of the ongoing conflict, the country’s security cannot be threatened.
