“Budapest will not support Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s demand for Ukraine to join the European Union (EU) by 2027.”
Elchi.az reports that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban wrote about this on his social network page.
“Ukraine’s accession to the EU will not bring peace; it will lead to war in Europe. This is not up for discussion: Hungary will not finance, arm, or legalize a threat to its own security,” the politician wrote.
Orban noted that Kyiv is talking about ensuring its security, while Ukrainian military leaders are making harsh threats against Hungary.
