NATO has launched the “Arctic Sentry” mission to expand its military presence in the Arctic.
Elchi.az reports that this was stated in a statement by General Alexis Grynkewich, Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
The statement reads: “NATO has launched Operation Arctic Sentry. The new mission will coordinate the expanded military presence of NATO countries in the region, including exercises such as Arctic Endurance conducted by Denmark in Greenland.”
