A delegation led by Mohammed Ali Al-Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with Eldar Azizov, Head of the Baku City Executive Authority.
According to Elchi.az, the meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of sister city relations between Baku and Abu Dhabi.
Eldar Azizov noted during the meeting that the high level of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE today is the result of the activities of the leaders of both states.
