Speed limit is determined on toll roads.
Elchi.az reports that this is reflected in the amendment to the Law “On Road Traffic” which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis.
According to the project, in order to separately regulate the speed limit on toll highways, it is proposed to set the speed limit outside settlements at 130 kilometers per hour for passenger cars and trucks with a maximum permissible mass of no more than 3.5 tons, and no more than 90 kilometers per hour for other buses, passenger cars towing a trailer, and trucks with a maximum permissible mass of more than 3.5 tons.
The project was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
