A plane has crashed shortly after taking off from Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Elchi.az reports that, according to reports, all passengers have been safely evacuated.
A StarSky Airlines passenger plane crashed into the sea near the coast of Mogadishu after taking off from Aden Adde International Airport.
According to officials, the plane had difficulty gaining altitude shortly after taking off from runway 23 and experienced a technical malfunction.
Images from the scene show one wing of the plane completely detached, with a large crowd gathered around. Airport officials said rescue and emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the area as soon as the accident occurred.
An airport official said, “Everyone on board the plane has been safely evacuated.”
