At the airport, the US Vice President was greeted with a red carpet by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan. Live coverage from the scene was provided by local television channels.
According to the press service of the Armenian government, Vens will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan this evening, and statements for the press will be made after the meeting. Other details of the meetings in Yerevan have not been disclosed.
