The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information on the “112” hotline about a fire in a store on Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, Sabail district of the capital.
The MES told Elchi.az that the forces of the State Fire Protection Service were immediately involved in the area in connection with the information.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire in the confectionery store with a total area of 15 square meters was extinguished in a short time without being allowed to spread.
As a result of the fire, one air conditioner and 2 sq.m. of kitchen furniture installed inside the store burned.
The major part of the store was protected from the fire.
