“SpaceX” Plans Unmanned Lunar Landing in 2027

The US company “SpaceX” plans to carry out the first unmanned landing of the “Starship” spacecraft on the Moon in March 2027.

Elchi.az reports that The Wall Street Journal reported this with reference to sources.

According to reports, achieving this goal will be a difficult technical process and will require frequent test flights of “Starship”. The newspaper writes that “SpaceX” has decided to focus on the lunar program currently being implemented with NASA, and therefore has temporarily put aside its ambitions related to the Mars mission.

It is noted that according to Elon Musk’s initial plan, “Starship” was to fly to Mars in unmanned mode in 2026, and after the safety of the landing was checked, manned missions were to begin.
