An unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has fallen on the territory of the 1st air cavalry battalion in Lejnitsa-Velka, Poland.
Elchi.az reports that the Polish military police announced this on the “X” social network.
“The Lodz Department of the Military Gendarmerie is investigating the UAV that fell on the territory of the 1st air cavalry battalion in Lejnitsa-Velka on February 6 and did not cause any damage. Procedural actions are currently ongoing at the scene,” the statement said.
It was noted that carrying out flights using an aerial object, especially flights over military areas and facilities, is considered a crime and is punishable by imprisonment for up to 5 years.
