The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Lithuania has sent a note of protest to the representative of the Russian Embassy in Vilnius due to attacks on Ukrainian civilians, energy and other critical infrastructure facilities.
Elchi.az reports that the information was spread on the website of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“By unequivocally targeting civilian targets, a bus full of miners, the Druzhkovka market or an ambulance, as well as heating and electricity companies, Russia is demonstrating that its participation in negotiations is an imitation,” the foreign policy department said in a statement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that Moscow is not interested in an early end to the war.
The protest note emphasizes that the organizers and perpetrators of Russian war crimes in Ukraine will be found and held accountable, regardless of the statute of limitations.
It was reported that protest notes to Russia will be used as evidence to ensure the responsibility of the political and military leadership of this country in the future.
