During the control measures carried out in the last week, facts of illegal cutting of greenery in the territory of Baku city were revealed.
Elchi.az reports that the State Ecological Security Service has released information about this.
It was reported that during the investigation, it was determined that 25,680 manats of damage was caused to greenery as a result of illegal cutting of trees at 1A Huseyn Seyidzade Street, Nasimi district, 283A Abbas Mirza Sharifzade Street, Yasamal district, Mushfig Shahbazov Street, Mardakan settlement, Khazar district, and Abay turn 360th district, Nasimi district.
Since the amount of damage caused to greenery in each case creates a criminal element, the collected materials have been sent to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment of the issue.
