The largest volume of liquidation occurred in “Bitcoin”, the largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization. Its shares were liquidated at a value of $1.04 billion.
Approximately $1.38 billion in liquidations were for long positions, and another $668.29 million for short positions. The largest liquidation order in the last 24 hours was recorded on the “BTC-USD” trading pair on the “Hyperliquid” cryptocurrency exchange and amounted to $21.3 million.
According to the Binance exchange, the prices of major cryptocurrencies are increasing. According to the information as of 21:33 Baku time, the price of “Bitcoin” increased by 6.66% to $71,357, and the price of “Ethereum” (ETH) increased by 6.48% to $2,088,000.
According to Coinmarketcap, the total capitalization of the cryptocurrency market amounted to $2.39 trillion. $1.409 trillion or 58.6% of this amount falls on “Bitcoin”, and $248.354 billion or 10.3% falls on “Ethereum”.
