The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ hotline “112” received information about citizens stranded in an uncontrolled area at sea in the Garadagh district of Baku city.
This was reported to Elchi.az by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was reported that divers-rescuers of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Rescue on Water of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved in the area in connection with the information.
As a result of the operative rescue operation, citizens who were helpless at sea approximately 1 km from the shore due to a malfunction in the engine of the fishing boat, Mammadov Rahman Marifat oglu, born in 1994, Aliyev Ali Ramiz oglu, born in 1986, Mammadov Intigam Islam oglu, born in 1981, and Guliyev Ilkin Shakir oglu, born in 1980, were rescued by rescuers and taken to the shore.
