The US Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, stated that Washington will continue to supply weapons to Ukraine until a peace agreement is signed.
Elchi.az reports that his words were broadcast by the Newsmax TV channel.
“We will continue to sell weapons to our NATO allies, and they will mainly transfer these weapons to Ukraine, for as long as it takes to conclude a peace agreement,” Whitaker emphasized.
According to the US representative, it is about air defense equipment and offensive weapons to continue the conflict.
“Because it is this power that will ultimately guarantee peace, so that after this war ends, we do not face a new intervention on the European continent,” he added.
