US President Donald Trump has called Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan good leaders.
Elchi.az reports that he said this during his speech in Washington.
The US leader recalled his role in resolving a number of conflicts. “I have stopped the violent wars of Cambodia-Thailand, Kosovo-Serbia, Pakistan-India, Israel-Iran, Armenia-Azerbaijan,” Trump said.
Speaking about the progress in the peace process between Baku and Yerevan, Trump stressed: “Really, two good leaders. All they knew was fighting. They have been fighting for many years. But we solved everything pretty quickly,” he said.
