Russia and the USA have agreed to comply with the terms of the Strategic Offensive Arms Reduction Treaty (START) for at least half a year.
Elchi.az reports that journalist Barak Ravid of Axios announced this in his “X” account, citing a source.
“The practical results of the negotiations are that the US and Russia have agreed to comply with the terms of the agreement for at least six months, during which negotiations on a new agreement will be held,” he wrote.
It should be noted that on February 4-5, trilateral US-Russia-Ukraine negotiations on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict were held in Abu Dhabi. Moscow and Washington have also agreed to resume high-level dialogue on military issues.
