Leyla Aliyeva visits the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum and the Abrahamic Family House

Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum and the Abrahamic Family House on February 5.

Elchi.az reports that Leyla Aliyeva first visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first foreign branch of the famous Louvre Museum in Paris, is located on Saadiyat Island. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the museum opened to visitors in November 2017.

The museum’s permanent collection displays a large number of works of art reflecting various periods and civilizations. In addition, works presented by partner museums are also included in the exposition.

Then Leyla Aliyeva got acquainted with the Abrahamic Family House.

In 2019, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced the creation of the Abrahamic Family House. This unique complex combines the Ahmed Al-Tayeb Mosque, the St. Francis Church, and the Moses bin Maimon Synagogue in the same space. In addition to religious shrines, there is also an educational center where visitors can learn more about different religions.
