The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the provision of technical assistance worth US$2 million for the implementation of the project “Supporting the Development and Application of the Private Capital Mobilization Indicator.”
Elchi.az reports this with reference to the Bank. According to the information, Azerbaijan is also among the developing countries in the project.
The technical assistance will be financed from the Special Technical Assistance Fund and is aimed at developing a comprehensive methodology to systematically measure and stimulate private sector participation in various projects in ADB member countries.
The initiative covers Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia, as well as the Pacific region, along with Azerbaijan.
The main goal of the project is to strengthen ADB’s analytical base for mobilizing private capital and increase institutional capacity in member countries.
