7 more defendants sentenced in the trial of Armenian citizens

The verdict has been announced for the defendants in the ongoing trial of Armenian citizens in the Baku Military Court.

Elchi.az reports that according to the verdict, Melikset Pashayan was sentenced to 19 years, Garik Martirosyan to 18 years, Davit Allahverdiyean to 16 years, Levon Balayan to 16 years, Vasili Beglaryan to 15 years, Gurgen Stepanyan to 15 years, and Erik Ghazaryan to 15 years of imprisonment.

It should be noted that the final decision has been announced in the trial of citizens of the Republic of Armenia, who are accused of committing crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the preparation and conduct of aggressive war, genocide, violation of the laws and customs of war, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, violent seizure of power, violent retention of power, and other numerous crimes as a result of Armenian military aggression.

It is worth reminding that the court process started on January 17, 2025.

On December 26, the judicial panel went to deliberation.
