Police arrested Jörg Dornau, a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, during a session of the Saxon Landtag (state parliament).

According to the publication, “Police arrested Jörg Dornau, a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in the Saxony state parliament. Investigators took the politician to a separate room for questioning.”
It is noted that searches were carried out in the deputy’s office and house. Details regarding the arrest have not been disclosed.
Previously, the State Parliament’s Immunity Committee recommended that Dornau’s immunity be lifted.
