The US, Ukraine and European countries have agreed on a multi-layered plan to support any future peace agreement between Moscow and Kyiv.
Elchi.az reports that this was reported by The Financial Times (FT) newspaper, citing sources.
According to the publication, Washington and European states have agreed to give a “coordinated military response” if the Russian side “regularly violates” the agreement. In the initial stage, response measures will include diplomatic warnings and actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). These measures are expected to be taken within 24 hours of the violation of the agreement.
If combat operations continue, a “coalition of willing countries” will join the process. The escalation into a large-scale offensive will lead to the activation of forces supported by the collective West. In this context, it is planned to involve US military forces. Western forces are expected to be activated approximately 72 hours after the first ceasefire violation.
