“The Main State Traffic Police Department once again brings to the attention of drivers that, according to the rules, they must take into account the speed, trajectory, as well as road and weather conditions in pedestrian crossings or places where pedestrians are allowed to move, reduce the speed of the vehicle in time and not interfere with the safe passage of pedestrians.”
Elchi.az reports that this was noted in the MSTPD’s warning.
“It should not be forgotten that creating conditions for a pedestrian to cross the road safely depends on the driver’s attention, responsibility and correct behavior.
The Main State Traffic Police Department calls on all drivers to be more careful when approaching pedestrian crossings, to prioritize the safe movement of pedestrians and to strictly observe traffic rules,” the warning said.
