NATO: Troops on the ground, jets in the air, ships in the Black Sea

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the security guarantees to be given to Ukraine will be strong, saying, “There will be troops on the ground, jets in the air, and ships in the Black Sea.”
Elchi.az reports that Rutte, who is in Kyiv, reiterated NATO’s support in his speech to the Ukrainian Parliament.
He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to “tire Ukraine out by waiting,” believing that Ukraine is weak, its supporters will get tired over time, and its will will be shaken.
Rutte said: “But he was very wrong. Ukraine is strong and our support is unwavering.”
“Security guarantees are strong”
Rutte said: “Security guarantees are strong, and this is important. Because we know that reaching an agreement to end this terrible war will require difficult choices.” Promising that peace will be lasting, Rutte said that Putin has not won despite being ready to sacrifice countless people from his own population, and that the successes achieved on the front line are progressing extremely slowly and with difficulty. Rutte added that pressure on Russia and support for Ukraine will continue, saying: “Winter may be cold, but spring will definitely come.”
