The US federal government has partially temporarily suspended operations (shutdown).
Elchi.az reports with reference to US media that the reason for this is the dissatisfaction in Congress with the financing of the Department of Homeland Security.
It should be noted that the US government previously declared a shutdown between October 1 and November 14 last year. This was the longest government shutdown in US history.
During the shutdown, essential service sectors were damaged, and hundreds of thousands of civil servants experienced weeks of salary delays.
