More than 950 former ISIS terrorist group fighters have been transferred from prisons in Syria to Iraqi territory.

According to the TV channel, the US has so far transferred 953 ISIS members from Syria to Iraq. Most of the former militants brought to Iraq are not Iraqis, but citizens of other countries. Al Hadath noted that in the next 24 hours, another 150 former ISIS members are expected to be transferred from Syria to special detention facilities for terrorists in Iraq.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) previously announced that the number of ISIS members to be transferred from Syria to Iraq could reach 7,000.
