The transfer of Greenland under US control could be used to legitimize Russia’s seizure of Ukrainian territories.
reports that this idea was voiced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He said: “In my opinion, the issue with Greenland is such a specific story that tomorrow they can use it to take our territories from us and recognize it de jure. It is necessary to look at it this way as well.”
Zelensky also criticized European countries for sending a limited military contingent to Greenland, calling it an incomprehensible signal.
