“Anadolu”, the Turkish Naval Forces’ operational group, has started operating in the Baltic Sea within the framework of the “Steadfast Dart2026” exercise.
Elchi.az reports that the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey announced this on its “X” account.
“The activity of the ships is a confirmation of Turkey’s commitment to collective defense and deterrence,” the post said.
For information, “Steadfast Dart2026” is a large-scale exercise that NATO plans to conduct in January-March 2026. The main goal is to prepare NATO’s European members for a flexible response to any threat. The exercise, which involves 10,000 soldiers, focuses on Turkey, Germany, Italy and Spain.
