US President Donald Trump mentioned his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron’s sunglasses during a Cabinet meeting at the White House.
Elchi.az reports that Trump mentioned this accessory during a discussion of tariffs on imports from various countries.
According to him, Macron is one of the first leaders with whom he discussed this issue.
“He wasn’t wearing glasses then,” the US president said, causing laughter among those present.
Trump also parodied his counterpart’s French accent once again.
It should be reminded that the French president wore large aviator sunglasses to the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He explained that the sunglasses were permanent due to a blood vessel bursting in his eye.
