In Azerbaijan, a total of 858 kg 631.899 grams of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as 4745 pills and 240 packages of potent substances, seized from illegal circulation and subject to destruction decisions in 25 criminal cases, were destroyed by burning.

It was reported that the total amount of various types of narcotic drugs destroyed included 453 kg 924.517 grams of heroin, 394 kg 224.36 grams of marijuana, 2 kg 245.25 grams of opium, 5 kg 224.72 grams of hashish, 3 kg 002.052 grams, 22139 pills and 1056 ampoules of psychotropic substances, as well as 4745 pills and 240 packages of potent substances.
The value of the destroyed drugs is more than 52 million manats.
