British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld has stated that expanding educational ties between the two countries is a priority.
Elchi.az reports that the ambassador shared this on his “X” account.
The diplomat stated that he is currently meeting with Azerbaijani students studying in the UK for various academic degrees.
“Talented Azerbaijani youth are studying in the UK at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. I was very pleased to meet some of them in Glasgow. We aim to further strengthen our cooperation in higher education within the framework of the UK-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership,” he noted.
