In Lithuania, parliament conservatives have proposed restricting the voting rights of Russians and Belarusians.
Elchi.az reports that this was reported by “LRT”.
“We propose to restrict or prohibit the participation of citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU) and NATO in local self-government council and mayoral elections,” the politician said.
Kaščiūnas claimed that similar bans exist in the other two Baltic countries – Latvia and Estonia.
Earlier, former Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Darius Jurgelevičius stated that the North Atlantic Alliance has prepared a plan to blockade Kaliningrad in the event of a direct military conflict with Russia. However, he refused to refer to the city by its Russian name, Kaliningrad.
